Diabetic Devices

Diabetic Shoes

Diabetic shoes are useful for reducing pressure and friction on the feet and decrease the likelihood of foot injuries.  Those with diabetes often suffer from neuropathy, or nerve damage, which can lead to decreased feelings in the feet and possibly miss the early warning signs of foot problems.  Neuropathy also decreases circulation in the feet, reducing the body’s ability to heal and fight infection.  Diabetic shoes are sized properly with adequate padding ensuring a roomy fit in the toe-box, heal and arch of the shoe.  Diabetic shoes come in a variety of styles and are beneficial for preventing foot complications.

Shoe Inserts

Shoe inserts are helpful for easing diabetic foot pain, arthritis, and medical conditions.  Inserts are designed specifically for the diabetic foot as they are full length and made from soft, low-density foam for comfort.  They include deep heel cups for added stability and alignment.  Friction reducing impact zones assist in eliminating pressure points that can cause dangerous blisters.  Inserts will keep your feet healthy and comfortable and will help you take care of your feet.

PDC Restorer™

The PDC Restorer™ Stimulator is a small electrical stimulator that provides impulses through garments, causing increased blood flow in patients with neuropathy to reduce symptoms. Studies conducted over the years show that the device’s unique twin peak waveform helps increase oxygen flow and circulation, which is critical to healthy nerve performance.
Patients or caregivers can administer user-friendly treatments (60-minute daily or 8-hour noctural) to reduce the symptoms of pain, burning sensations or numbness. Over the course of several treatments, patients will notice the subsiding of these symptoms.

The PDC Restorer™ provides reliable results for a variety of diagnoses:
